Even though the pitcher gets credit for the perfect, it is a total team effort. Wise and Uribe proved that. Without that catch by Wise, there would not have been a perfect game, a no hitter, nor a shutout. Without the error by Uribe, Sanchez's no hitter would have been a perfect game. The pitcher loses a perfect game because someone else makes an error. A pitcher pitches a perfect game because someone else robber a hitter of a HR.
