We don't use DVB-T in the USA, so this won't work.
I have the exact same tester, it does work in USA, it shows basic info for the signal strength.
It is helpful tool for basic aiming on an antenna, when the TV is far away

The above only show signal strength. Not very useful for optimizing signal quality for reliable reception.
I use a SiliconDust tuner and SiliconDust HomeRun Meter app on an Android tablet.

The best meter you can use is a small tv. My meter can't find two signals that I do receive and get great picture with. Take it up on the roof with you and plug it in right to the antenna and manually put the channels in.
You should both be tied off to something to prevent that from happening.I would be afraid that the Tv would fall off the roof and take me with it!
Just what I've been looking for. There is also one for Iphone called Signal GH. It's $2.99. Allows you to view signal strength AND signal quality for two channels at the same time. I've used it when on my roof trying to aim my antenna. VERY useful. Also plots the location of the towers and your GPS location so you know where to aim
