listening to sirius online?

Hello all,

I registered my sirius receiver yesterday but also wanted to try out listening through my mac. I go to sirius' site, hit listen, then log in but all I hear are the intros to each of the channels and then it stops...am I missing something? How can I listen online?

Only some channels work..

After playing with it some more it seems like I can listen to some stations but others such as abc news, or some of the political talk stations just give me the intro. Are there certain channels not available online?

Yes, sports, news and entertainment are not online yet. I hope they clear them one day. I have read its because of contractual reasons. Maybe Sirius Rich can give the details.

EDIT: Here is what I found at Sirius Backstage

"Many of the programs found on News Talk, Sports and Entertainment streams are produced by someone other than Sirius. Those producers own the internet streaming rights so by contract Sirius doesn't have the right to put this content on the 'net. They merely licence the content for retransmission on Sirius radio broadcasts"

This procedure will be the same regardless of your satellite radio service.

Sirius does have their original talk programming availabe to listen to online a well.
