I say Alabama. That state loves their college football and loves to BBQ and tailgate. They don't already have an NFL franchise there. Why not?

I'll offer up these Bengals, but I'm going to go by the last few years, not just this year. Just because someone is hurt or having an off-year, I'm not going to count him out.

QB - Carson Palmer
WR - Chad Johnson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh
G - Andrew Whitworth (maybe)
LB - Dhani Jones
CB - Leon Hall
S - Chinedum Ndukwe

NOT Shayme Graham--guy makes every kick until it counts

I was thinking about the Lions, and who I would keep if I were the GM. Then it occured to me that they aren't the only team in the NFL with players who wouldn't be in the NFL if it weren't for these teams:

Detroit Lions
St. Louis Rams
Cincinnati Bengals
Kansas City Chiefs
Oakland Raiders

So lets build a team from each of these team's best (?) players! (If we can, we might not have enough!)

From the Lions I will nominate the following:

Kicker - Jason Hanson, Punter - Nick Harris, OLB - Ernie Sims, RB - Kevin Smith (for depth) WR - Calvin Johnson

This is all I would salvage from the worst team in NFL history. I know Oakland (Salsa) and Cinci (Brainfry and Ramy) are represented, so maybe somebody with intimate knowledge of KC and St Louis can nominate some players.

I would KEEP McFadden, Sebestian Janikowski, THE BEST PUNTER IN THE NFL the last 3 years(NO PUNTER has had more real-time practice), Shane Leckler and THE BEST COVER CORNER in the NFL, Nnamdi Asomugha.
