I'm shocked with how many members still support SD TV sets.
I have a nice 27" RCA , but I never turn it on.
All viewing is on 22" & 42" HD LCD sets.

hint: never buy a 22", no matter the price; it's too small.

still have 5 SD tv's here use them still. most fta stuff is found on a SD if it deemed worthy it then goes to the big screen. LOL

SD maybe still looks better on a CRT? Anyway, I bought a 50" LCD set last week, wish I had gone bigger. The SD crap we get would look worse, but wowzer, some of the HD content would look all the better, certainly some of the Blu-ray movies we watch. Our county is taking CRTs this Saturday, normally you must throw them in a ditch at the side of the road late at night when nobody is looking , but since there is an official collection point I felt it was best to abandon CRT technology altogether this year. I want you to get a bigger set at some point, Anole, you won't be disappointed and that's the way we like it.

oh yes when the first HD tv came in the house that day only had OTA and freaked out on how bad SD it looked. thought i bought the Wrong tv grabbed a dvd and went out getting dvd players hooked up to HD tv's all over town only to find all HD tv's suck at SD. that day i said i'll always need a SD set and went out to find the one of the best SD tv's ever made the 40'' mit's (you remember in every sports bar in the 90s) found 2 down in L.A..
they are also good with Internet streams
