Last weekend I had installed updates to Ubuntu on my Mac Pro 2006 and forgot to click "Fold" again...

But after losing the GTX 1070 card and my Dell Precision workstation, I'm a shadow of my my former glory.

It looks like for the past few days my main folding rig was unable to download work units.

This morning I went through my machine and checked my firewall, antivirus etc and still couldn't get it to download.

So went and downloaded the client and installed it and all is working good again.

Which version are you running? 7.4.16 may be a smoother experience, especially on the newer OSes.

Ah, I see now that Stanford has announced FAH v7.5.1 is the current release version. Has anybody on the Team tried this out yet?

Sorry guys, but I'm backing down on the Folding for a little while. With the summer heat coming on, I'm going to scale back the furnace of heat coming out of my machine to help keep it a little cooler in here...and let the elec bill calm a little too.

Has anybody on the Team tried this out yet?

Just installed it on one machine. I havn't had any issues in several months. Started noticing my PPD was going down.
So, looked into it and one GPU never would download. The fix for this before was to re-install the FAH client.
Decided to try the new open beta 7.5.1. So far so good...
Will have to give it a few days and see.
