Have Dish @ 110 & 119.

The 110 always shows around 64% while 119 shows on average 75.

Just happened to notice this option this past weekend after playing with my system and I got to wonder is the signal really optimized. I always thought that closer to 100 is best?

I would like your input.

From information you gave, they are fine. They may be a little low, but not by much, and as 3HaloODST posted, without knowing your location we can't be more specific. You will not see signal strengths near 100% for most any locations. Partly because Dish changed how the meter reads the signal, and it now reports lower than it used to, and partly because if your signal is high enough that you don't lose it (other than in heavy approaching rain) then higher does not make a difference. Your picture is the same at 60% or 90%.

Depending on what transponder, your area minimums are in the 60's on 110, 60's to 70's on 119.

We can't go by an avatar as to your location. There are hundreds here who went to a College/University but don't live anywhere near there.... :bounce
