Is it possible?

I have the low end Direct HD receiver along with the standard DVR receiver. I have these hooked up to two different TV's. Both receivers are in the same a/v closet with my IR repeaters.

The problem is that when you change the channel on the HD receiver, it also changes the channel on the DVR. (and vice versa)

Is there a way to trick/spoof the receivers or remotes that they exclusively only control one receiver or the other?

Yes, you can change the remote address that the receivers use.
It's buried in the setup menus.
