Everytime i call dish for any reason, the automatic machine, before connecting me to the csr, tells me that "hey I see that you are our most valued or top customer", I was wondering if that everyone gets this message or its really for their select few customers. I do spend around $190 in programming(mostly foriegn channels) monthly.
TIA

Yea, I get that message also then I get connected to a CSR who claims Dish is the leader in HD...

I get that top customer message but he always forwards my call to India. I wish I could just talk to him as he seems more friendly. :D

Always take the tech support route to talk about any issue. You will not be connected to India.

I did the tech support route the other day to see if the HD upgd offer was same was same as csr route, it was with the exception of DVR advantage......csr mentioned it, tech did not.

Big spender here. So I do get the "most valued" customer greeting. However, we want to know if there are any of the just AT people who get that as well as the Everything Pack subs.

Its only on some customers from what I have put together, as I have had to call on a 3-way with some customers and I don't ever remember hearing it when I got a customer on the phone that owes money.

Hehe...no deadbeats allowed?

I always get that message. I've never been routed to India AFAIK. However, some CSR's in India do a pretty good job of faking American, British and/or Australian accents.

I always get that message, and I've never been shuttled to a CSR in India. IIRC, a message plays that tells me they are going to forward me to a CSR for high-value customers. Given the CSR's use of colloquialisms, the only place they could be from is the USA.

Apparently you haven't checked the monthly prices of the porn channels lately :D
I'm sure someone could subscribe to enough channels to exceed $200/month but the "average" customer certainly spends nothing close to that. Dish's highest programming package, what, America's Everything Pack, is just over $100, isn't it ? I know the foreign-language packages are ridiculously expensive though... I always think Dish's attitude there is "if someone wants it bad enough, they'll pay whatever we want".
