I wanted to prepare my home with the proper coax setup for 2 HD DVR's and 2 HD's so that I can route my wires through the floor so my wife is happy with the setup. What I wanted is for the SAT wires to come into my basement Laundry room and there I will have the wires run to the four rooms where the receivers will be set up. How many wires will be going to each receiver, is it two each for the HD DVR's and one for each HD box, or two coax to each receiver? is it possible to get them to wire it into a central location like this?
I just came over from dish network where the installers screwed up the install royally! my wife had been upset about it for quite a while. I'm trying to keep that from happening without requiring some special consideration from the installers when they come. I know their job is not easy especially when they have some guy trying to get them to worry about what his wife might think!
