Storm damage? or house demolition?
Too bad.
Does that black cloth cover the head of the idiot who ripped up the dish?
On another note...
Ya know, those dishes were generally installed on a nice little non-penetrating roof mount.
You might look around and salvage that part, at least.
Too bad no mount. I was getting ready to plan a trip across the Lake to see your Paraclipse and Birdview... again
If you have some ideas on how to get this birdview aimed, I'll buy the steaks and tasty beverages of your choice....LOL
I think it's your location, perhaps if you bring it up to North Dakota it will work better in MY yard.
Life is all about compromises, if you get it to 99.99999% is going the last little bit worth the effort?
You might be right, but if I loaded it up to bring it to you, I'd have a crazed country boy in Arkansas, standing out in the middle of the interstate with a shotgun waiting on me...Brother Gabshere is wanting a Birdview quite badly....LOL
THEN if I made it past there, I'd eventually get to MISSOURI, and you know THERE sits the Birdview Reclamation and Renewal Facility...so I don't think it'd ever make it to you....
well in this case that would mean limited Ku band. I can't lock all Ku transponders on a particular satellite (any one) at similar strengths. I can lock them on my 1m dish and take note of their qualities, and they are different on the Birdview. So I have a problem somewhere.
I guess I should be putting this in your BV thread, but are you sure the Ku LNB you have is OK? It sure sounds like a feed problem with everything else you've been through... maybe dirty/bent probes or something? Have you tried that feed on another dish?
