As indicated above, I took advantage of the "Subscribers with local channels
in the following cities automatically qualify to get a FREE dish at 61.5 offer. In fact I called them on Friday and we scheduled out for a week, but they called back and came out later that same afternoon. Anyway, I subscribed to locals to get this, but I already get locals over the air. How long should I wait before I cancel the locals?

That would depend on if you subscribed to dish on Digital Home Advantage. If you did then they are in the DHA package.

if you are under no commitment, you can cancel the next day. personnaly, i would wait a month.

Obviously, if he had to ADD the locals, he was NOT a DHA customer. I would at least wait a month. Then you can at least CLAIM that they weren't worth it. You are probably going to have to pay for at least the whole month anyway.
