I am thinking about adding a DirecTV Genie HD DVR upgrade

I am thinking about adding a DirecTV Genie HD DVR but I want to still keep my other three HD DVRs. Do I need to upgrade any LNB’s or Splitters?

My Setup is as follows...

HR21
HR22
HR23
SWM 5 LNB
8 Way SWM Splitter


Any help would be appreciated.

Yep it is still to early for me the title should be upgrade

You will have eleven tuners and your setup will only support eight. Unless you are in the few areas that are trialling the SWM13, DirecTV will replace the SWM LNB at the dish with a non-swm LNB, run four cables to the house, and install an SWM16 and power inserter.
Alternatively you could buy an SWM13 LNB off ebay, then just replace the LNB at the dish with the SWM13, everything else will stay the same.
