I have had this problem since I got my Hopper over 6 months ago. I assumed it was just software problem that would be fixed sooner or later, but I don't see anyone else complaining about it and I still have it. If I am watching live TV and hit skip back, it is almost never 10 seconds, usually it is between 5-30 seconds. If it is in the 5-10 second range, it will jump back to live on its own within about 10 seconds. It is very annoying, is anyone else having this prob? I really don't want to loose all the programs I have recorded and don't want to buy an external HD, that may or may not transfer recordings to new Hopper.

Anyway, anyone else seeing this?

And it isn't limited to just the Hopper/Joey. Older ViP series receivers also have this problem.

Even the older SD DVRs such as the 625 have the issue... Not a huge deal but it would be nice if they fixed it.
