Hopper renting pay per views, BY ITSELF

No porn yet but I wouldn't be surprised. Nothing has downloaded since I took some security measures. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though because it had been a couple of months since the last incident.

The on demand movie (Reasonable Doubt) that downloaded and parked itself in the rental folder showed expired this morning. I could have sworn that when I looked at it a couple of days ago it said I had 20+ days to watch it. Lot's of bizarre stuff going on.

I did PM one of the DIRT folks yesterday and asked them to take a look at this. Haven't heard back yet.

I've had my Hopper from the first week of its existence. I've never had that kind of issue......

I contacted someone from DIRT but he wouldn't credit the movie charges because I didn't turn on parental controls after the first incident. So it was all my fault that this happened again Now I'm stuck with paying for movies I never ordered and I still don't know how or why it happened or when/if it will happen again, parental controls or not. I'm very frustrated, can you tell?

It's not over yet. Does anyone have the number for Executive Resolutions?

I got so frustrated, I called and had Dish zero out my PPV credit limit. No more spurious irreversible charges for PPV. Of course no more PPV either. Except through the free coupons which you may receive from time to time.

All you have to do is call the 800 number and ask for executive resolution dept. they will transfer you immediately after they give you a third degree.

I have a 720 area code number that I called in the past. I haven't had time to call yet today so I'm not sure if it is still a good number or not.

Another question I forgot to ask. Out of curiosity did you have parental controls turned on when the non-ordered pay movies showed up on your account?

FYI, I did have my PPV credit limit changed to $0. Good suggestion.

As a follow up.

I was able to get a front line csr to credit the two movies. Hopefully with the new security measures in place this does not happen again but I still do not know why it happened in the first place.

Yup the hopper do watch porn from time to time. Those dirty dogs. ;P na man I have done hundreds of hopper jobs and never heard of it happening. Not saying it didn't.
