Hopper external temperatures.

We know a lot of people's internal hopper temps. Time for external.

I let my hopper reach full operating temp by allowing it to run for at least 1 hours. I'm also watching a channel, and recording. So the hopper is in "max operating state".

The thermometer I use is accurate to 2 degrees.

Now this view is if your looking down at the hopper.

Upper left hand corner: 72 degrees.

Bottom Left Hand Corner: 86 degrees.

Upper Right: 74 degrees.

Bottom Right: 102 degrees.

As you can see, the hottest location is the bottom right. This the location of the PSU.

Yep, and the fan is on the opposite end. The HDD gets nice and toasty too, but this design is better for the HDD than the 722 chassis.

Hottest part of my H2 is the right side close to the front by the vents: 107.0F
Top cover right front: 95.8
Top cover left front: 86.6
Top cover rear: 82-84 L-R

Ambient temp: 71.1
