Hopper + Eastern Arc?

Sorry for the beginner question... I am about to purchased a Hopper but currently my antenna is an Eastern Arc (I live in WA state). Will the hopper work normally with an eastern arc? I heard that hopper only works with western arc.... thanks for the help!

Been running a 2 Hopper 4 joey system on Eastern Arc since the release of the Hopper. You are good to go.

Youtube video (I know... bad source) that Eastern Arc + hopper only works if you live east of the Mississippi and Western + hopper if you are west of it... and since I am in WA State I was just wondering

Well, your elevation will be low, so LOS may be tricky, and your locals will be missing, other than that you should be good to go.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to purchase3 the Hopper? Could you actually be a little north of Washington?
