I will say though.....I can't figure out all of the hatred toward the new CUI. Sure it's different bit things change and evolve. So far I can't substantiate any of the issues and complaints. Maybe they got the bugs worked out.

The hatred towards the CUI comes from people that don't even have a Hopper and ones that never even used the new UI.
And by the sounds of its, S541 doesn't sound like an improvement.
Wow you lose 4x FF and 30 minutes out of the guide with the Carbon.

H2 didn't have OTA issues,
That was the H3, and it was OTA recording issues.
EHD issues, well I've seen reports of just about every receiver on the market with an EHD that have reported issues including S541 on the Hopper, 722k, 612 all with standard software.

Even with these "issues" the Hopper line is miles ahead of anything a VIP can do.

I agree. The Hopper series is FAR ahead of the ViPs. However, I fear the CUI will bring problems to the HWS.
