Genie Recommends

Hey everyone.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience getting genie recommends to work. I have had directv for over a year and it has never worked for me.

Here is what I have done
Confirmed it’s on in settings
Performed clearmybox to try and get it
I do not seem to have channel 1998. From my research I need this.

I am not plugged into the internet but everything I have read it is not required for this feature.

I can’t imagine the time I would have trying to explain this to directv so I thought I would see what you all thought.

I believe all On Demand stuff needs the internet ... that would work the same way ...
Try connecting the internet and see if it works.
