Genie Mini Question

Can you set a show to record from any DirecTV genie mini or must all shows be set from the main genie box? Thanks for the help.

You can set a show to record directly from any of the minis.

You can use your Genie client and record things to your Genie. However, if you have a 2nd DVR you will be able to view recordings, but you can't tell client to record to 2nd DVR

What appears to happen is that while the List View shows all DVR recordings in aggregate, a recording will only actually record upon the receiver that's physically taking the request.

You can see which physical DVR houses the recording in List view via a bracketed DVR name that's prepended to the recording's title.
