Genie deleting shows on it's own

My wife yelled at me the other day saying I deleted her show. I hardly use the dvr to record but then it happened to my show. I watch Gotham. I have it set up to keep until I delete and it still deleted it. Is it something in the series settings ?

Check to see how many episodes you have it set to keep.
Some are set to 5, if you have more than 5 it will start deleting on that particular show.

Good point as the O D ones have an expiration date on them ...

Not getting full. The shows are live airings. The episodes were set to 5 but why would it delete the brand new ones?

It shouldn't.

Try running a Reset and see if that might clear the issue.
Can't hurt to see.

im trying to record "Last man on Earth" series, and the season/episode on it is jacked up. did you actually get to look at those to see if they were correct before they were deleted? not sure if it has an impact, just thought i'd mention it.

Have you checked the History? What does it says?
