I am hearing Davis is going to stiff Kiffen on the money for the rest of the contract and thats why it took a while to fire him because he was going over to get ready to stiff him. What a classy guy!
..and with that said, I will officially change my prediction fom 6 to 7 possible wins to 3. This is the kind of things that just makes you wanna pick another team. How the f**k do you expect for a team to improve when you an owner that just refuses to let a coach coach. IF AL DAVIS is THAT smart a football man, why not wheelchair his criptic ass from the morgue he calls the owners suite and coach??!! As long as this f**king corpse owns the team, the Raiders will NEVER win more than 5 games again. And as for that c***suck** Rob Ryan who underminded Kiffin thinking that by swallowing for Davis would get him the headcoaching job, he gets whatever he deserves!!!
I was just about to post the same thing. I've always blamed Davis, but after watching that, either Kiffin deserves at least some of the blame or Old Man Al deserves an Academy Award.
BTW,
I haven't seen Davis speak in years, and he was a lot more lucid than I would have given him credit for.
The funny thing is...I actually wrote an email to the organization because of all that's been going on. It started out really well....until I mentioned that piece of sh** Ryan....then all the expletives starting coming out. Like now....

Ive been a Kiffen sympathiser, but damn, wheres the fricken offense. Rob Ryans defense has been on fire. I know they fall apart in the 4th quarter, but at least they show up for part of the game. As a Raider fan i cant say im as disappointed as i thought i would be to hear this news. My brother on the other hand is an emotional mess, lol.
Al did it to Shanahan, and he's held a grudge (and a winning record vs. the Raiders) ever since.....
Well....you gotta remember...the Raiders have ABSOLUTELY no playmakers at the WR position....NONE. IF you go back to the last 4 drafts, IF Al Davis would have been worm food....the Raiders could have drafted Calvin Johnson from Georgia Tech....Larry Fitsgerald from Pittsburgh and Matt Lienart throwing to them. They STILL would have had Michael Bush and they would have had no issues drafting offensive linemen in rounds 2 through 4. But NNNNOOOOOOOO.....

ouch!!! i hadn't seen al davis in a long time. i was truly shocked how destroyed he is. at times he was lucid but others he was way out there. gone!!! It's a shame to see a genius like him just wither away. It's time for change at the top. he did say he would hire for next year someone to handle personnel. they need someone to take some of these things off of al's hands.
Al Davis looked horrible. His press conference made me want to puke. I can't believe he tells all the lies about the coach. Kiffin had the class not to retaliate when he had the prime opportunity. Even the ESPN announcers said he was distraught and couldn't talk about it.
And people wonder why Al Davis has trouble finding an experienced head coach that wants to work for him. The good ones (like Chuckie Gruden) leave as soon as they can.

Well...gotta remember...he has not played well because he has been injured. But the Raiders also passed on the guy who torched in against the Broncos too....there were PLENTY of QB choices that year.
