These posts are getting more idiotic, are you saying that a married couple that live in the same home each have their own Amazon Prime account?
Yes...there are only 200 million prime accounts worldwide...no more idiotic than predicting 20 million subs to sunday ticket

2M did when it was also available on cable, satellite, and OTA. I guess time will tell.

[Bookmarked for future reference]
Lets see how it does in week 7 -14 in the middle of the season ...
Of course its gonna draw well in the beginning of the season ....

I don't remember most TNF games as it is, when it is on Network or NFLN ... unless its my team.

I imagine there are alot like me that forgot about it, now if its Streaming ONLY, it will be even worse .... after the initial start ...

I guess we'll find out when the rating come out ....

I'm sure they will make it sound like it did great regardless.

I agree that I would rather watch the complete game however it would be interesting to see how many viewers and the demographics of the viewers who watch the Red Zone channel compared to the NFL Sunday Ticket or even the local or national broadcast of the game. So far I can't find anyone here at work that doesn't watch Red Zone. And none of them ever watch a complete MLB game, just the highlights.
Now take a poll with those same people and see what percentage are Fantasy players or Gamblers ... I bet its High.

I would agree with that. But the attention span of many of the younger generation is short. I also think most football fans under 30 would take the NFL Red Zone over the NFL Sunday Ticket to watch a game. It will be very interesting to see the numbers after next year when it comes to subscribers.

The 2M example from last year that I gave occurred week 10.

There was one report that Apple was expected to get it buy wanted to reserve the announcement for an appropriate time (a product launch, etc). Ultimately, no news isn't really bad news unless it's this time next year with nothing, then yeah, something's gone sideways.

Personally, IF Apple does get it, you would think they would NOT want to do it at one of thier Product launches ....
Why would they waste that info at an already attended event ... wouldn't they much like to have "Another Event" to announce, vs doing it at a Phone or Tablet release.

It has been in the news that Apple plans to slow hiring and spending next year, I wonder if NFLST could be a causality of that.

Fine by me, always have said Amazon is the better home for it, they also have a business division alread, so they can handle Bars, Restaurants and Casinos.

How dose DIRECTV plan to keep Sunday ticket? For me they have been giving it to us for free the past 7 years, has anyone been getting it for free lately? Or is it just me because we have been with DTV since 1996 and currently pay 236$ for the highest package

Phone/Tablet event would get it the most exposure, and couple it with their overall emphasis on sports, how it's highlighted in the latest OS/hardware, etc. Like everything else, they'd frame it like they're inventing sports, basically.

Another perspective ...

Intriguing… the streaming guys are saying it’s worth what they think it’s worth, not what the NFL thinks it’s worth.

Maybe they looked into the DirecTV ST numbers, saw viewership, cost per eyeball hour of the content and decided they didn’t want to pay more for the NFL than they do for Ted Lasso.

The NFL also has NFL+ vapor ware that they promised with no visible means of support.

Granted, I still think either Apple, Amazon, or Disney/ESPN will pay a pretty penny to get it… I just don’t think the penny will be as pretty as the NFL had hoped.

And the price for the Sub will Stay around $300, because they already know the customer will pay it.

Got it free the last two years without asking. This year I had to call and it took about 45 seconds to get it approved.
