This is one app I would love to see on the Hopper!

Sure the app is in Roku, but having everything I use on one box would be great.

I agree this would be a great feature. Give me TuneIn and MLB.tv on the Hopper and I will be a happy guy!

Shhhh! Don't give them any ideas like that! Yes, maybe in 2015 when they get all the other issues worked out. Dish needs to spend the first few months of the new year fixing what they broke this year and make a more solid Hopper. THEN then can play around with all the nice-to-haves.

The apps are their own Eco system. Adding apps does not effect the Hopper

I would love to see a Hopper App Store.

While we're fantasizing, how about "The AV Hopper With Sling?" This baby would have an AV receiver built in, with two zone 7.1 outs, multiple HDMI 2.0 inputs and outputs, USB 3, SiriusXM and terrestrial radios, Dish MPEG-4 support, full Internet browser, BT keyboard, built in router/access point, wireless Joey links and come in any color you want so long as it's black.

Hey, I'm sure they could move a few. A few dozen, at least. :(

No, I haven't been drinking. It's not even noon yet!

You really should use a smilie when making a joke.
of course, as most of you probably know much more about than I do, HD radio does exist through a very large media conglomerate ( no names mentioned). It is simply using a digital signal which particularly on the AM band eliminates the static ( or so I am told, never purchased an HD receiver). Plus, it also expands the frequency with sub-channels. Just a little excitement there...

That may be the case, but my point was that I'm sure they have a finite pool of development resources and I have to believe that even though apps may run in their own "space" that the engineers would still have to be involved at least to test to be sure any new apps or 'things' integrate into the main Hopper OS properly. Keep engineers on task to fix what's broken first. Then they can have fun. ;)

Remember they gave out a SDK to select developers. They however never said who those developers were.

Maybe it's something that we see at CES.
