Well I'm a bit mad right now. After one week of not receiving the roku I called them last week to get an update on it and they apologized and were sending one out right away. Well today comes and I come home to a ups package with only an hdmi cable but no roku? I don't understand what's going g on here. How did everyone else receive their roku? I'll be calling them first thing tomorrow morning .

I don't understand a lot of complaining here. I was approved a Roku on 1st. Still waiting. Did check with dish....& they said I will get it soon. No hdmi cable yet also as many here are saying.

I think the problem is that there is no way to track our verify the order. Everyone has to go by faith alone and sadly the majority of people have little faith these days because too many times the ball has been dropped.

Just tell her it will be easier to switch from device to device. I upgraded to an Onyko with 5 hdmi in's from an older Denon AVR(pre hdmi). My wife is a techno phobe, but she was able to figure out how to switch from source to source.
Is there a way to check if credits have been applied to your bill online? I checked Dish's website and I can see my past bills but not anything current.
Same here. Talked with Dish on Sunday and the mail lady just delivered my Roku this morning (Wednesday).
No HDMI promised or needed, I've got a bunch of 'em.I couldn't find any credits listed but my balance due went down $45 so I think I'm good. $35 one time credit and $10 @ month off for 12 months.

I guess it depends on who you chatted/called. I called the Loyalty number and received an email with FedEx tracking info the next day...
Just called been putting it off why I don't know but getting the free roku, hdmi cable and $10 off bill for a year so the deal is still out there. Spoke to Cynthia everything was very easy and quick.
I will post my experience because maybe it's relevant to others and it's a little unique. I am in Puerto Rico, I have HBO, Showtime and the Latino Max. I pay about $96 a month. I talked to the first person on the line and he only pushed the $2 per episode credit. I asked how long i had left on my contract was referred to someone else. The next person was a very nice lady and I just asked her about giving me the Roku. She checked and because they can't send it ot PR for some reason I for the $80 credited to my account over the span of 4 months and half price HBO and Showtime for 6 months. She also told me that every time an episode came out I could call and get $2 credit. All in all I am pleased. I already have a couple of Rokus.
I did not get an offer, but when I called Dish, the first question I asked how much it would cost to cancel Dish. My hopper/3joeys were less than two months old. The young lady was super nice.....long story short, after about 35 minutes, I had a free roku coming, $15 per month off my bill, and Satellite internet to be installed.......TODAY!!! It is in, working...and I am super happy - right now., I got the Roku today in the USPS mail, and the only thing I have tosee yet is the $15 a month for a year. I haver been a dish customer for 11 years straight and will stay for now. Love the Hopper, even with it's weird recording anomalies.
Wonder why they send some USPS and some UPS?? I got mine today after only two days, USPS. Also got sat internet installed, today, and its the berries. Had Clearwire, which went south on me. They must be using SPrint's network or something. Installer said Dish bought Hughsnet...didn't know that.
Been with Dish for eleven years and only just this year coming to us? For Shame!

In some areas UPS will hand over the packages to be delivered by USPS. Also, large shippers will calculate the cheapest method for the origin and destination and I suspect that is what is driving the decision.

Tried the chat but they would not do it and said I had to call. When I called a CSR with very heavy accent said he could only offer me a credit to watch AMC on Amazon. He then transfered me to a great guy named Mike who was very helpfull. All worked out, very pleased, probably could have gotten more.

No idea if Dish did said about not shipping to PR...but when I chatted with Dish Loyalty....on 1st July...I got approved for Roku. Its another matter that I havent received it till now...but I check couple of time...& Dish CSR acknowledge that I have Roku approved...& that I should be receiving it soon (moved from overnight to 3-5 business days to 7-10 business days). In the end...Dish did acknowledge that being in PR...shipping will be a bit delayed for some reason.
so yes....Dish did give Roku to a PR sub although still waiting for it....But IMO..you got a better deal....more credits off your bill considering you already have Roku.
I will wait whole of this week & if havent received will check back sometime next week.
