Late last week the wife's VIP211K died. I called dish and made arrangements for a replacement and of course he started the spiel about a Hopper. I stopped him in mid-sentence and said "No thanks, I'm not about to break the wife in on a whole different receiver." He laughed and said he understood and put in for a replacement VIP211K so even though they are considered obsolete Dish is still shipping replacements. What they are not doing, however, is taking the old ones back. He told me to just toss it. It arrived today and momma's a happy lady once again. No muss, no fuss, an overall pleasant experience with Dish. Credit where credit is due.
