Credit Card Handling fee?

Just got my first statement from Dish, and I saw something weird in the "Fee's and Special Charges" explanation section; insted of calling them and getting the run around, I thought I would ask here..

It shows that Dish charges a $5.00 "Credit card agent fee"; does that mean they charge you 5 bucks if you pay buy credit card once, everytime, or never?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but so far, calling their Customer service Department has given me a headache!

If you talked to an agent to pay your bill then you probably did get charged. most any time you talk to someone like a ppv order they do charge you

Well, no, they did NOT charge me anything; I saw these "explanations" of charges on the BACK of my invoice, and was just wondering if in the future they would charge me if I paid by credit card..they did NOT charge me any of those charges yet, but I want to make sure that if I pay by Credit Card, I dont have to pay an extra 5 dollars "handling" fee..

If you called and spoke to someone to pay your bill they will charge you $5 for wasting their time (They want you to use their automated system)

Yep, you can use a credit card for free either online (DISH Network -- Home) or via the customer service applications on dish home.
