I was in contact with the guy from Dewitt. He wouldn't name any price, he simply wanted to "trade". He'd trade for a gun, a boat, and ipod touch, surround sound system. He says he's "into lots of stuff". All I got out of him is that it was 10', worked perfect the last time he used it (several years ago) and he'd get the name/make of the dish for me, which he never did. He didn't want to trade for anything I had available, and never named a price/barter value.

Personally, if anybody actually was willing to trade him a gun, I suggest you don't bring bullets with you! lol Otherwise it sounds like it could be a great dish, if you can actually get it away from him.

10.5 foot fiberglass satellite dish antenna with 100' coax (Kalamazoo MI 49001) picture

right now it's on a 30' pole. the pole starts at 9" at the bottom & tapers to about 4' at the top. the pole is filled with cement & is about 5' into the ground next to my houses poured wall basement. the pole is surrounded with about 8" of cement 5' deep. the dish itself is a 4 piece all fiberglass 10 & a half foot dish & weighs about 500 bs. it's about 25' above ground. it has a feed horn in the middle of the dish with an armiture to move the dish. I no longer have the inside receiver/armiture control to move the dish or receive tv satellite channels.

I want to keep & move the pole about 70 feet from the house & put a 10 mast on top so I can mount a regular air tv antenna with a rotor on top of it.

I do not have a good air tv antenna or rotor yet.

I'll need the dish taken down, the cement around the pole broke up & moved about 70 feet, 10' mast mounted on top with a rotor & air tv antenna & pole stood up in the new hole I will dig then cemented in.

make an offer on this 10.5 foot satellite dish with 100' coax & if you can do what I need done

10' FTA Satellite Dish - $300 (East Brunswick NJ)

Channel Master 10' Dish disassembled and ready to move . Includes Dish itself, SuperJack XL H8 Actuator with motor , Old Norsat LNB and Chaparral servo motor, Mounting Pipe (broke off at cement base and a piece of same diameter pipe has to be welded on or attached by some other way) . No power supply or other box included. I have no other docs or specs on this dish.
If I would work on this project I would get BSC-621 LNB on EBay, to avoid headaches with purchasing 4DTV box and power for servo motor to use this dish for FTA.
I bought this dish for myself ,but kids visiting my son and I don't want an accident to happen.
Guys, please don't call me with tech questions look up info on the web or something.
You will have a piece which is on pictures in disassembled condition.
Please , don't waste my time to negotiate the price. 10" mesh dish alone cost about 1000$, so You getting a very good deal and price is firm.
The more i research about it- the more I'm iffy about selling it, so there is a possibility, that I might keep it for my self if You will take Your time.

Wave Frontier Toroidal T55 Dish - $50 (Norman, OK)

This comes with about three or four LNBs, you can point to multiple satellites

Only bad thing about these toroidial dishes-- they are harder to point than regular dishes.
If you're wanting Dish network or DirecTV, trust me, you are better off getting your equipment for free when you sign up.
If you need a dish like this, you know who you are (satellite TV geek :)

Additional LNB are available online, for both circular and linear polarized satellites.

A new auction popped up on the gsaauctions.gov site. It is for 4 dishes, looks like 2 C and 2 Ku. One of the C band ones looks to be a paraclipse style either 12 or 14 foot. The current bid is $5. The auction number is A1QSCI13008735. The dishes are located in Dale, OR.

If you are also buying the receivers, make sure you plug them in there and verify they still have good unit id's! I got screwed buying one a few years ago with a blanked id due to a dead battery. Only paid $20, but I sure could have used the $20 somewhere else.
