I try the moca and leave it overnight, didn't work eitherYou're welcome. I can't see Dish doing that because if they did then customers with multiple Hopper 1's and 2's won't be able to share recordings between receivers, etc. That would be a mess.
One more thing you might try if you haven't. If you have another Hopper 1 or 2 then you might try connecting them on a MoCA network. The one with the old software might download the update from the CUI one.
I have to download a Hopper 1 in the next couple of days and I'll let you know what software it takes. We're on eastern arc 61.5 and 72 here but if it's still on this arc then it should still be on the western arc too.
Good luck.
I used it on H2000 before, a little slower than HWS, I don't mind it, love the look of the CUITruth is, you really do NOT want the CUI on a Hopper 2000, unless you have 2 in the same system and one already has it.
If true, I wonder if they intend to roll back the CUI from the hopper 2000's they already updated. There was a message about a month ago that they were going to stop updating those. Maybe they actually did something that they said they were going to do
Based on what JSheridan posted, it isn’t true....If true, I wonder if they intend to roll back the CUI from the hopper 2000's they already updated.
Nope, they said they can't or won't roll them back.If true, I wonder if they intend to roll back the CUI from the hopper 2000's they already updated.

There is work being done to speed up the UI on Hopper. While that it done we have stopped deploying new UI to Hopper.
Although to date, the CUI is still downloading to the H2K
Hopefully they implement these speed-ups on ALL Hopper generations. They can never be too fast. This was the post on the tech portal:

Thanks, maybe it's the Hooper itself, I ordered two HWS this morningI just did a boot recovery on a previously downloaded not activated Hopper 2000 and it got U118 which is the latest CUI version. Eastern arc, 72 and 61.5.
The Hooper I had never have any previous download software, there was no joey software on the drive eitherI just did a boot recovery on a previously downloaded not activated Hopper 2000 and it got U118 which is the latest CUI version. Eastern arc, 72 and 61.5.
