Neilsens will not include cable channels in their ratings; they are separate. So The Closer gets lumped with stuff like The Suite Life of Zach and Cody.

Kind of like how The New York Times won't put Harry Potter on the best-sellers list. They relegate it to Children's Lit. Total B.S., but I digress. :D :D

Agree its BS.. Networks are networks, viewers are views to me. Let them all compete.

After the long summer...

Zap2it reports:

A night of repeats on CBS trumped FOX's premieres Monday, although "Prison Break" and "K-Ville" did deliver a demographic victory.

CBS averaged a 5.5 rating/9 share among households for the evening, narrowly beating FOX's 5.3/8. NBC was not far behind in third with a 5.0/8. ABC earned a 3.9/6 for fourth, and The CW was pretty far off the pace at 1.2/2.

FOX led among adults 18-49 with a 3.3 rating. CBS took second in the demographic with a 2.6, edging NBC's 2.5. ABC averaged 2.3 and The CW 0.7.

CBS' controversial "Kid Nation" premiered to decent numbers Wednesday, while FOX won the demographic title with its night of debuts.

CBS won the night overall with a 5.9 rating/10 share. NBC, 5.2/9, came in second, and FOX was third at 4.8/8. ABC's 3.9/7 was good for fourth, and The CW came in at 2.8/5.

The adults 18-49 crown went to FOX, which scored a 3.0 rating in the key ad-sales demographic. NBC took second at 2.8, followed by CBS at 2.6. The CW, 2.1, edged ABC, 2.0, for fourth.

Thanks to "Dancing with the Stars," ABC won the night with a 10.1 rating/15 share. CBS finished second at 7.9/12, followed by NBC at 6.6/10. FOX, 4.4/7, came in fourth, and The CW, which went with an all-rerun lineup, was way off the pace at 1.1/2.

The adults 18-49 race was much tighter, with ABC's 4.7 rating just beating NBC's 4.6 for the lead. CBS took third with a 4.2. FOX averaged 2.7 and The CW 0.7.

sorry for the delay on the ratings... I had a crazy week at work and didn't have time. I'll catch up this weekend.

Ironic, I have been waiting all summer for a reason to revive this thread; I finally get it, and all hell breaks loose! :)

My bad... life has gotten in the way of reporting daily ratings. I can't promise to get to them everyday, but I will promise to do better. :)

The National Football League was a boon to CBS Sunday, but NBC's prime-time game of the week suffered some of its lowest ratings ever.

CBS won the night with an 11.4 rating/18 share (with those numbers subject to change thanks to live football). ABC finished second at 8.1/13, while NBC managed only a 5.3/8 for the night. FOX, 3.8/6, came in fourth, while The CW was barely there at 0.8/1.

The adults 18-49 crown also went to CBS, which drew a 5.0 rating in the demographic. ABC took second at 4.6. NBC, 3.3, beat out FOX, 3.0, for third, while The CW fell well below the 1.0 mark.

On Saturday, FOX's coverage of the American League Championship Series won the night with a 5.4/10. CBS finished second at 4.3/8, followed by ABC, 4.1/8, and NBC, 2.5/5.

ABC got a strong premiere from its comedy "Samantha Who?" Monday, which helped carry the network to a ratings win.

For the night, ABC averaged a 10.3 rating/16 share, beating out CBS' 7.9/12. FOX, 6.5/10, came in third (with those numbers subject to change due to live sports). NBC's 5.4/8 was good for fourth, and The CW trailed with a 1.8/3.

ABC also snagged a victory among adults 18-49, drawing a 4.2 rating to edge CBS' 4.1. NBC, 3.7, came in third in the key ad demographic. FOX averaged 2.9 and The CW 1.0.

Yup, you are right.... I clicked through without looking. And way too crazy with the move ;)

I hope to revise the ratings thread once we actually have a full slate of shows running.
 
No Nets, but Stand By Me on HDNet Movies, and inspite of the obnoxious screen-crawls and commercials: LOTR Trilogy on TNT-HD.
