Ford is a lot of things, but cheap is not one of them. How else could you explain giving Marriucci that King Kong contract, or Millen an extension after 4 losing seasons? The Lions spend up to the cap limit every season. The problem is that ford wouldn't know a "football man" if he kicked him in the ass. Just look at the list of GM's since Ford took ownership. The NFL needs to step in and help him with this decision.

Ah c'mon. At least MILLEN is gone, next is Marinelli and his silly "we'll have to look at the film, the film don't lie", and the equally silly "pound the rock". How about evaluating your players on the field, and maybe pounding the opposing team?
The Lions have hit rock bottom this season, it couldn't possibly get any worse next season, could it? By the way, wouldn't it just be easier to just watch somebody else?
