Battlestar Galactica -- Season 4

I gues, but

leaves me unimpressed. Its not like star trek when you can create one show after another; we do NOT need a third re-telling of the story of Adama, Starbuck, and Baltar, We have done that twice, and the second time was amazing, but I just don't see the reason to do that again.

No arguement from me... I can't see how Larson could possibly top (or really even compete) with what Moore and crew put up on Scifi the past 4 years...

You can only get so much milk out of a cow... ;) maybe 10 years from now, but not with the series ending and a straight to Dvd coming out soon...(and by the same company:rolleyes:)

So last week all the four care about is what Anders has to say; this week Ellen is there, and there is no effort to learn anything. IMHO, lame episode, and disappointing. Maybe the last 10 minutes will be different, but I doubt it.

AND I still want answers about Baltar and the Six in his head. :D

Man...
Ellen is no less a b*tch as a cylon than she was when she thought she was human. She seemed a bit more "noble", thoughtful...interesting...last week with John and Boomer. Now it's like the old Ellen is back.

I agree, except at the end with Caprica, but even then I am not sure what to make of her. Still, very disappointed. Except in one way - Saul Tigh's character and Michael Hogan's acting has been amazing.

Yep, I agree...very disappointed. They could've built on the momentum they had last week...but
instead they went with an argument between Ellen and Saul and Ellen being a b*tch and Balter with Gina in his head again...

I agree, Hogan's acting has been great too...

Anybody notice Baltar channelling the spirit of Scarlett O'Hara? Hilarious.

Probably plenty of other parallels with "Gone with the Wind" if you analyze it for them which I don't plan to.

Seems the whole episode had to do with the meshing of humans and cylons, with the ship as an obvious metaphor. I really hate to say it but there is a little bit of Macross in that. Old idea of course, but that one that came to mind.

Well, now that Anders has rebooted, things should get interesting again next week, because he's going to insist that they not leave the fleet...why does petulent, petty Ellen seem like some kind of leader of the final 5?

Okay, next question...why does giving Baltar and his "nymph squad" high-powered guns look/feel like a really bad idea?

I think that's to stop the gangs from taking over... next weeks teaser ran frame by frame shows
Looks like a Raptor or a Viper crashes through the side of the launch bay, looks like a Raptor but then it looked like flash of Hot Dog...also looks like Boomer hugging Adama, crying...
