Battlestar Galactica -- Season 4

Here's a weird question (well, maybe not so weird)...as the raptor was approaching Galactica, did anyone else see a really quick shot of a centurion's head in a ship, or maybe it was a raider? Are raiders flying security patrols for the fleet too now?

It was an extremely quick shot and I need to watch it again...

Heres the Raider

Yes with wifey and their child... as Ellen sees it.

As others have said, I do agree that the change of Ellen from the reflective character on the base ship to her usual self in Galactica was awkward. But perhaps it has to do with her falling into old patterns when she sees her husband again. It was sort of the same when they were reunited the first time.

Also, did the preview for next week say something about doing some kind of experiment on Boomer? Perhaps I misunderstood it.

Yes, this episode was more a plot developer ...

A bunch of scenes with the Galactica getting "gooped". Translation ... big battle coming.
Head 6 is back ... not sure why ... ?
Next week we learn more about Starbuck ... hopefully we figure out what and who she is.
Now that the baby is dead, does that mean that Ellen will switch her vote? I do think Ellen hit the nail on the head a little with Tigh though in that he is "married" to his uniform. I also believe he loves Bill Adama like a brother or best friend.
Anyway ... next week looks good ...

Ok, Tigh is in a bromance. Fair enough.

Problem with a "plot developer" is that there are what, five episodes left? They need to keep the story moving! :)

Did anybody else catch the scene in the bar where Kara asks the bartender "when did you get the piano?" Then in previews, we see younger her at a piano.
?????

After rewatching it, I liked it too, but I definitely don't like the Ellen/Saul combo. Ellen turns into a manipulative, petty, wicked b*tch around Saul. If it turns out that Baltar is somehow a "Daniel" (which could explain Gina being back in his head...seems like she shows up whenever he's in a bad situation and needs some advice), I'll be a bit disappointed. If anyone is "Daniel", I'd prefer it be Starbuck...that would tie some things up pretty nicely.

Adama needs to get past having the Galactica being part cylon tech. The ship is falling apart and if there's a battle with Cavil on the horizon, it'll never handle it, what with large, medium, small and micro fractures all over the place.

It's becoming obvious that the cylons and the humans need each other for survival...especially if the wacked-out Cavil shows up, which I think is extremely likely...

I thought Starbuck was a Daniel model that was screwed with by Cavil/john. Which is kind of funny when you think of the Daniel model who was trying to be with Starbuck in older episodes . She kept stabbing him and he would come back again and again. If not then where did Kara come from if not one of the cylons?

That was Leoben she kept killing ;)

Well, of course, we could have it both ways... Starbuck could be the "ying" version of a Daniel and Baltar could be the "yang" version...

Bone-to-pick: What was Caprica doing waiting in line for food in Dogville? She lives with Saul in what I would assume is Officers' quarters (Ellen even alludes to that when she points out that Caprica's hair brush is in "her" place). Why would Galactica's officers have to stand in line for rabbit pellets (what's what it looked like)? At first, I thought it might have been a different Six, but it's made clear later on that it was Caprica.

Baltar's right, there is still a huge undercurrent of anti-Cylon sentiment among the humans. I don't know if arming Baltar's Cult is the smartest thing to do, though. Maybe Adama is suffereing from Cylon Goo fume over-exposure from all those structual inspection scenes they threw in. Where's the MSDS book when you need it??! :)

I was wondering the same thing...what was Caprica doing wandering around in Dogville...just observing? There wasn't really any reason for her to be there...not that I could determine. She handled the assult well and I don't think it would've harmed Liam...she kicked butt rather easily...but there has to be some reason she was there, otherwise why waste screen-time on it?

As I've said before...giving Baltar and the "Nymph Squad" big guns just doesn't sound like a great idea to me...especially with Paula's attitude towards Baltar.

Starbuck or Baltar...maybe there is no #7 left? We don't know what the results of Cavil's sabotage were...but I'm betting we find out soon. :)
