Battlestar Galactica -- Season 4

Daniel?
Don't forget, 30 years ago Starbuck was a guy! :)
I was 14 years old 30 years ago and I thought the series was cheesy back then. Bonanza meets ET with a little Charlies Angels mixed in. Remember the capes they wore? WTF was that all about?. When the idea of a remake of it was floating around I just cringed because the show was so stupid. Todays BSG is on an entirely different level. Great characters, acting and plots.

I was wondering. What if Starbuck is a child of this Daniel Cylon? She would, in fact be, the first offspring of the final 5 (6). It can't be Baltar, because Cavil/John already has had Baltar on the ship and was not phased by him. If he was in fact a "Daniel", Cavil/John would have plugged him. One would have to guess that the pristine classic viper and Starbuck are both Cylon, but maybe they are BOTH Cylon offspring?

I've read the Starbuck could be Daniel's child or as Cavil messed with the regeneration fluid even Daniel at 3 other forums... the Scifi stream has a blog out today (don't have the link handy) where RDM kinda refuted that the 13th would ever be revealed... (we'll see) I just watched the end of Crossroads II and the start of He That Believeth in Me... Starbuck was gone 2 months Fleet Time and 6 hours her's, the raider sensed that Anders was one of the Final 5... perhaps the Raiders and Centeriouns can sense that (remember how Ellen was nice to and the Centerioun that helped her out of the regeneration tub receprocated?) maybe the Raiders and Ceneriouns will rebel against Cavil's bunch when they discover that the final (or original) 5 are with the fleet...

I watched it and Galactica 1980 (which brought cheese to a new height or low ;)) I rented the TOS a year or so ago... Jeez :D

B.G TOS would have been a great show if it didn't have that stupid kid in it spoiling the story and if it didn't air opposite 60 Minutes at 7PM on Sunday nights. That was a death sentence for the show.

Galactica 1980.That was a joke. The best episode was the last one,"The Return of Starbuck" which was sort of depressing. They also had another episode "The Night the Cylons landed".It was quite goofy but it also introduced the first "skin job".

I've watched one particular scene several times now and Ellen states to Cavil and Boomer that he (John/Cavil) was the one that changed Daniel's genetic profile (pretty much exact wording). I take that to mean several possible things: 1) made Daniel inviable and thus there is no 8th model. 2) Daniel is actually Starbuck now, which could explain why Leoben seems to be staying away from her now. 3) Daniel is the dog that was on New Caprica. (;) :D)

Two complete viewings and several re-viewings of various scenes... I've practically got the thing memorized... ;)
I've been trying to figure out how to integrate (other than hooking the PC to my Replay) the Podcast with this episode...on a disc ;) and this the new opening totally ruins my edit/combination of the Mini-series/Razor on disc as now I want the opening part before it goes to 40 years later ;)

Man, that's an ambitious project! :)

I thought the whole thing was kinda forced with Anders vomiting information right there in that episode. . Dumped on the viewer. Why? just like the new intro. No new viewers would watch without some explaination. The writers dropped the ball on this series somewhere along the way and if they don't explain it and quickly no one new is ever going to follow it. The whole thing gives the impression that they are still making up the ending in their heads, IMO. There just arent enough episodes left.
