Battlestar Galactica -- Season 4

The preview showed a bunch of base stars around a resurection hub, so, I assume the rebuilt it. But, she did die before they destroyed the resurrection ship, so perhaps there is a special 5 members only goo bath that was hidden on the resurrection ship, so she may have been on the lose for a year+ now.

Did I miss that? Was he in the same line up at Felix? Must re-watch the end. I saw him dragged away, that's all.

Yep, seated in the chair next to him in the main hanger. As far as we know, they're dead (Jim :D)...

I just rewatched... then watched about 10 minutes of the Mini-Series... the Galactica has gone thru hell... ;) Poetic justice would have had Gaeta wake up as he is being pulled from a vat... :D

The irony of that would've been extremely satisfying. :D As for the Galactica, it got hammered in the battle getting away from New Caprica and has never been worked on since as they've been going head-long to Earth. No shipyard to get some work done. Like that one guy said..."it used to be a helluva ship". It's a wreck now...

You just sparked something -- the preview shows Ellen being resurrected; I wonder how they pull that off, since the rez hub was destryoyed. :)

I think she rezzed after Saul poisoned her back on New Caprica into some kind of special "final five" rez location only for the final five. It's an elite goo-tub. ;) Looked like there was just one centurion standing there too. Question about the rez process: who loads the new body into the tub? Is it an automated process? It didn't look like there was anyone else (besides that centurion) to welcome her back, so how do they know when someone's "incoming" and thus to stick a body for them in the goo-bath? Does the Hybrid yell "incoming number six!" or something? A question I'd like to see answered sometime...

The vat she comes out of looks totally different from any previously seen I think... this may be where the other 4 came from(and could be how Kara came back)

I agree, it looked like a very different goo-tub than anything we've seen so far. I wonder where it's located? Do the final five have a long-distance rez capability we don't know about yet? Obviously, this time around, Ellen should know she's a cylon, I would think...

Some caps...

Thanks Joe. I missed that about Zarek; glad he got his. :)

No prob, Mike. You can see Zarek's nose in the foreground of the pic of Gaeta in profile in the launch bay that Don posted and also seated next to Gaeta in the "Did They?" pic as well.

I added the Basestars and Resurrection ship cap shown in the previews... Stock footage? or replacement from Cylon homeworld or Caprica...

About the "Did They?" pic: after what Gaeta and Zarek did, yeah, I think they've definitely been executed. Zarek had the quorum executed without even a second thought and Adama was going to be next...if that doesn't warrant execution, what does? Gaeta staged a mutiny... automatic execution right there, no ifs, ands or buts. As for the Base ships and the Rez ship cap, I'm guessing stock footage, but we really can't assume anything at this point. :)

Really liked the scene where Kara took out the guard in the restroom. :D

I see it clearly from Don's screen capture; I just missed that scene when watching, not sure how. All I saw was felix talking about his leg, and then the shot.

In many ways I think Felix was emotionally flawed; and just a psychological mess

I think Felix would've been okay, even after serving under Baltar's regiem...but I think Adama giving the "magical Starbuck" a garbage skow of a ship, her jumping around, painting weird stuff and getting all weird on them, then picking up Leoben, then finding the damaged Base ship, getting his leg shot off, finding out other skinjobs were in the fleet, Dee killing herself right after he talked with her and then, oh, cylon tech on the fleet whether they want it or not and the cylons will be part of the fleet too....I think that whole thing just sent him over the edge...and he realized it...which is why he called for the weapons hold.

He saw what Zarek really was, what was actually happening, how many people had died (and how many more were likely to die) and he realized what he'd done...

Uh, they're Cylons. Of course, it's an automated process; they're all machines...:D

But seriously, If the Cylons have the Resurrection Ship back on-line (or a different one) then that brings up the question of what has been happening on the Cylon Homeworld all these years. Humanity had a fleet, the Cylons had a fleet, but where were the rest of the Cylons? Did the Cylon Civil War reach back to the Homeworld?

Yeah, they have a helluva lot of explaining to do about the whole lost 13th tribe being a tribe of cylons, who apparently were organic and not mechanical. Since the "story" of the cylons is that they were basically robots created to serve the humans, who then turned on their masters.

Indeed, I have been reading the BSG Cylon War Comic, (only the first issue is out), but they claim to be have story-lines created with the producers of the show. And it takes places in the time-period before the cylons rise up from household servants to well... centurion toasters. I know, not canon, but still....

there is so much to explain, and SO LITTLE TIME. Sadly, March 20th will be here before we know it.

Maybe those big cracks in the engine room are simply covering something up, hidden away in the ship from when it was first constructed. I got the sense that Galen was more surprised than simply thinking "uh oh"... as tho it shouldnt be there, even via battle damage. But I could be totally wrong.

As for where the different goo-tub is... arent they still near Earth? Or did they jump away already? Maybe thats where it is considering that they all had to be reborn somewhere the first time. It doesnt explain the centurion tho.
