They will keep coming until they get it right (or almost right), at which point it will be promptly discontinued to make way for the next bug box, when the cycle begins again.

Sure they are. Some will compel you to throw the receiver out the window.

Im new to the 811. Just bought it (own it) 2 weeks ago. When I plugged it in, it downloaded a firmware update (so I'm assuming it is latest one).
When you stay on OTA for a while, the receiver needs a full reset before Dish channels are available again. Part of the bug allows the channel display to stay up for a few seconds, only to revert to black screen.
I have also noticed that some of the top title program bars do NOT say what the actual program is (EG Fox news 205 says Changing spaces....(not actual error).
I'll see what happens!
