Does any one have the XTR1 WITH the power pod?
I have a question using the power POD can you still use the fm modulator?

Or is the modulator disconnected when unit is put in POD.

Thanks

I personally do not have this set up, yet. But from the below pasted quote, the answer is yes.

Jumped in tonight, and FINALLY got a Gen2.5 product with the XACT...and of course, I couldn't resist picking up the Pod as well.

I personally love the Pod already! First off, it's a great home kit! Like KHill, I get better reception with the Pod than with my PNP2 home kit (and without the external antenna and wires all over). Also, the wireless FM mod works with the Pod, and I get clear reception on my audio system in the living room, my clock radio in the bedroom, AND my shower radio. Keep in mind I live in a one-bedroom apt, but still I find that to be very impressive! This will be my home solution. I'll plug it in, and listen to it anywhere in the apt.

Also, I've had it going on the battery for two hours straight, after charging it for only two hours...and I still have 3 bars of battery strength. Not bad!

I tried it outdoors on a walk this evening, and it works great there too. It is bulky, no question about it, and I felt a little dorky holding it, but oh well. Razz

I think this will be a great solution to take Sirius with you. It's not a Walkman, but with the working FM mod and rechargeable battery, it makes a simple solution to take with you on the road, or down the road!

PS: On a side note, I definately like the XACT as well! Good SQ with the FM Mod.
