Helluva game. And it was as long as both Cy Yongers were in there. CC and Cliffy pitched a gem. Unfortunately for the Yanks, their relief was garbage and gave up the big runs.

Boo who.

Tribe wins: 10-2!

We're on a win streak! Break out the kazoos, trombones, clarinets, saxophones, champagne, etc! Tribe wins!!!!!

Suck it DsssNutz!

Finally some good news for the Sawx:

Buchholz hamstring injury not considered serious

By: Alex Speier

Starting pitcher Clay Buchholz, who is currently with Triple-A Pawtucket, has been dealing with a "slight strain" of his hamstring since his start on Sunday, according to Red Sox farm director Mike Hazen. The pitcher is being evaluated on a day-to-day basis, but the team is hopeful that he might be able to make his next start.

Though his next scheduled date of Friday might be a bit too aggressive a timetable for Buchholz' return to the mound, the team is "still going to hold out hope that it's not too far after that," said Hazen. "With the weather and the time of the year, I think we’re being overly cautious here. But we certainly don’t want it to turn into something else."

In his lone start of the PawSox season, Buchholz allowed one run in 3.2 innings on Sunday, walking four and striking out three.

What network ?

What do you expect ?
Wouldn't you watch your local network over the National one ?

Depends on who's calling the game. In this case, to hear Bob Costas would far surpass the STO crowd for me.

Listen, you don't have Steve Physioc and Rex Hudler calling your games, so you are not always looking for... "alternatives".;)

Orioles 7, Red Sox 0...........bottom of the 2nd

Brad Penny imploded in the second inning giving up 7 runs, including a grand salami to Nick Markakis. :(

Jay Bay 2 run homer............Orioles 7, Red Sox 2.

Sabres, do you still have Bay on your fantasy team?

Good for you.

Bay has become my favorite Red Sox player. :up

That is after Dustin Pedroia.

he just dove head first into first base to beat out an infield hit.

sox have the bases loaded, one out with 3 runs already in.

Papi is up and Papi is DUE!

Red Sox answered the Orioles 7 spot with 4 runs of their own.

Orioles 7, Red Sox 4....... end of 2nd inning.

This is starting to have the feel of that famous Rangers-Red Sox game last summer. Warm night in Boston too.

J.D. Drew hit a solo homer in the bottom of the 3rd.

I have Drew on my fantasy team and benched him earlier in the week.
