AL CENTRAL

What a nice come-from-behind victory by the Tigers after being down 4-0 and again 6-2 against the Mariners. They pick-up a half game over the idle White Sox. Of course, it's back on the road and where they have performed woefully this season.

Yes, it's off to Oakland for the West Coast LATE games ....
Let's see if the Tigers can do better than they did the last time they played Oakland.

Well, this article from ESPN pretty much sums it all up. The Tigers needs to show up this evening and be ready to play in order to avoid their 11th straight road series loss.

[ame="http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/preview?gameId=290821111"]Detroit Tigers vs. Oakland Athletics - Preview - August 21, 2009 - ESPN[/ame]

"After their fifth straight series win at home, the Detroit Tigers head west with a slim AL Central lead. The way they have played on the road lately, that advantage could become even more tenuous.

Detroit looks to avoid its 10th consecutive series loss away from Comerica Park as it opens a three-game set against the Oakland Athletics on Friday night."

Yeah but they've never used em before, with the logos I mean; its pretty distracting. You're watching it on the HD channel right? I got DirecTV so maybe you can't see them.

Plus the next 2 games are in HD btw.

It's an agreement with the A's (road team), the HD games will be the ones during the day, I guess.
Yes, I'm watching it on D* 663 as well. :)

At least it's NOT SD analog, picture doesn't look bad.

Yep, still holding a 3-1 lead into the bottom of the 7th while sporadically tracking the game on Gamecast. Hopefully they can hold on at move another full game up on the White Sox who got beat at home this evening by a not-very-good Orioles team.

Thats good, we lost to the Orioles too a few weeks back.

OK, who actually PLAYS sports?

Shaq once had a video game of his own- a fighting game!
