Is the pressure on the Tiger's or the White Sox in the division.

I agree. But, I'd also always want to be playing my best at the end of the season and take the momentum into the playoffs. If that means just kind of "hanging around" thru August, that's fine.

Also, Peavy should be around for a pennant push.

Maybe, also keep in mind that Peavy has never pitched in the AL, they have said for a lot of years now how much more difficult it is to pitch in the AL, so as to how well Peavy does this year is up for debate.

In Boston I think it was, while others didn't pitch, he did !

Tigers lost it in the 10th, but I was surprised to see the A's come back for a 3-2 late-inning rally against the White Sox. The standing remain the same half-way here at the ides of August.

Yeah man not even the right league. I think the worst part of the NL is they make the pitchers bat. For a guy who only plays every 5 games they just seems completely unfair, its an automatic out 75% of the time. And whats the deal with double switching? I'll never get that either. Baseball is the only sport wheres there's 2 completely different sets of rules, why is that?

I went in to eat when the Tigers game went to the ninth inning tied at 2 and didn't hear what happened till much later ...
Rayburn for all he does flexibility position wise, committed 2 errors was it in 1 inning to hand the game to the Royals.

This about the 5th time I can remember this year he has had errors in critical times of games, 3B, RF and LF off the top of my head.

Why was Brandon Inge not in there at third in the first place ?
Even if they were giving him the day off, they should have put him in in the 8th or 9th for defensive purposes.

I sure hope the Tigers don't lose this year by one game because they certainly have given alot of games away.
