Chicago vs. Baltimore at 7:05 p.m. and Athletics vs. Tigers at 9:05 p.m. I don't know about you, but I am coming down with a case of Penant Fever...although I haven't completely ruled out Swine Flu.

I'm not sure Paul, but the number I have in mind right now is two (2)...as in back-to-back road victories, which may be a first this season.
It's been a long time since that happened. At least the rest of the division is the same.
Well, we won the opening game at Oakland and we battled hard and lost a close one in the 2nd...hopefully we can capture a win this afternoon and our first road series in a long, long, long time. I just noticed the Tigers are up early (1-0) on the A's and tuned into the White Sox who are down 2-runs at home to the hapless O's going into the 9th
You spoke to soon..What really is pathetic about this road thing is we cannot even beat teams that have nobody playing for them..BTW is anyone sick of this Clete Thomas experiment yet? All he does is stikeout!!!
This series should have been a sweep, ITS FRIGGIN OAKLAND FOR CRYING OUT LOUD...Now we go to Red Hot LA...GREAT!!!
I agree! We're a God-like 40-20 at home and we turn into the Anti-Christ on the road. Thank goodness we're in such a crappy division (Chicago loses to Baltimore) or else we would be fighing for 3rd place. Ugh!
eF! The Tigers were clawing their way back until they brought in Perry who prompty gave up a three-quarter salami; 8-4 A's in the bottom the 8th. To quote Popeye, "Oh my garsh, that was embaraskin."

I have not seen any Magic Numbers mentioned yet, but using ESPN's MLB standings you can look at the Wild Card chase .
In the 10 series' since "Project Abandon Ship", the Indians have won 7 of the last 10 series' they've played.
Go figure....

we have lost 10 straight road series'. Just pathetic, but not as pathetic as the rest of the division.
Not that is sounds any worse, but I believe the count is now up to 11 after the Tigers debacle in Oakland.
