Bonderman will make a start tonight at Class A Western Michigan. He hopes to be back in Detroit in 1-2 starts.
For you youngsters who weren't around then, that would be Jim Northrup.
What a difference a year makes.
As we saw in 2006, I guess it's best to fly under the radar with low expectations.

Your saying the Tigers are under the radar this year ?
I understand what SR is saying. Last year everybody picked us to win it all. I certainly did. This year, everybody was picking us to finish out of the running. So I can see what SR was saying. I said it at the beginning of the season - we have the best starting rotation in the division. Porcello has become a great starter, and will probably remain with the Tiger's after Bonderman returns. He's leading the team in W's, and he is 3-0 with a 1.00 ERA in his last three starts. Couple that with Verlander's return to domination and Jackson's arm. Galaraga will find his way again, and then add Bonderman. That's a really nice rotation. The late inning bullpen is nothing but high octane gas. Perry, Zumaya, and Rodney - all upper 90's MPH throwers.
The way the Tiger's are hitting this series, I'm going to be sad to see Oakland's pitching leave town.
GO TIGERS!!!
Cabrera is just a monster.....damn does the Marlin line-up miss him!!!
He was worth every player we sent there. How's Maybin doing? He was labeled a "can't miss", 5 -tool prospect.
You know what you Mo-towners can do with all this success??!....... Shove it!!!
Hey its not all 4 sports. Did you forget about 0-16 already?
They better hope the hitters show up in a hurry, A's 6 Tigers 0I understand what SR is saying. Last year everybody picked us to win it all. I certainly did. Bonderman had a good outing yesterday. 7 innings, two earned runs, 6 hits, two walks. I for one will be glad to see him back in a Tiger's uniform.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Cleveland knows about failure too. The Browns were a big let down too this year.
BTW, just kidding about your Tigers. I'm thrilled about your success. At least one of us was able to turn our season around.

Galaraga looks terrible today.
You just returned the favor, I was going to go downstairs to watch, but I guess I'll stay here. this is more entertaining till the Wings come on.
