AL CENTRAL

That's very true. I've tried a few times to get into the NHL, but I just can't do it. I enjoy game 7s in the playoffs, but thats about it.....

Try watching the Detroit /Anaheim series, you'll either "get it" or you won't. This series will be what the NHL playoff's and hockey are all about.

I'll try to be nice, but I really hate the Ducks. I would have preferred that the Sharks had won. I think they would have been easier to beat when we got to them. Your team is huge like Columbus was, except your ducks have talent and experience to go with all that size. It's good thing the Wings don't back down. we will forecheck the hell out of your guys, win or lose.

The Indians placed DH Travis Hafner on the DL with a sore right shoulder. Hafner, who had surgery on the shoulder in the offseason, was originally in the Tribe lineup.

OMFG! HERE WE GO, MATT!!! Pronk seemed like he was doing so well, too!

Guys, let's try and hold it together. Let's not freak out here. These types of setbacks happen all the time. I'm disappointed, but all this means is that others will have to step up. That, and Matt LaPorta may be called up sooner rather than later.

That's all well and good, but it seems like the prognostications that Pronk would never be the same might be coming true!

Don't say that! That was one of my BIGGEST concerns going into the season! I don't need another reminder! :(

Something is wrong with him, man. :( I have no idea what it is, but I have a real bad feeling its going to be a chronic condition.

Ebb and flow, brother....ebb and flow!

Look on the bright side, HD:

1. Other members of the Tribe are chipping in nicely (Grady, DeRosa)

2. You still have those 66-win Cavs

3. It's a long season- this isn't a season-ender, plus I think he could still produce when he gets back on the roster

Thanks for the pick me up buddy. :up

Indians GM, Mark Shapiro just sat in the STO booth and said the Hafner setback was just that. A little setback following off-season surgery. The shoulder isn't completely healed yet and is still a little sore. He said this is normal and neither he or Hafner are too concerned. I'll take their word for it and try and remain positive. I do know that before the DL, Hafner was starting to show signs of power again, so it's evident he made progress since last year at least.

OK, who actually PLAYS sports?

Shaq once had a video game of his own- a fighting game!
