You can't walk 12 guys in a game and expect to win. Still don't think it's over, but the Sox have really fallen apart in the past week. Tigers haven't played as well on the road, got to hope MN & KC can win some games. But, Sox going to have to win some games.

Bad news for the Tigs. They said Scherzer was stiff during his bullpen session so they are skipping his start tomorrow. Drew Smyly will be starting in his place tomorrow.

Fister is trying to outdo Sanchez's performance. He is throwing a 1 hit shutout trough 7 innings. He also just set the American League record for consecutive strikeouts with 9.

I wsa gong to say cool because I've been meetings all day, but I just noticed the score is tied-up at 4-4. KC scored 3 in the 8th and 1 in the 9th. Noooo! Go Tigers!

It's ok. Walk off ground out by Avila!

Thats fine, give Scherzer some extra time off will be good in the long run and Smyly pitched well last time out.

The Whitesox just have to take care of their business[beat the rays] tonight and let the chips fall where they may.

Well, the officials were on thier side early tonight, with runners at 1st and 3rd, Peavy balked, the old fake to 3rd and then to 1st, well he never threw to 1st cause no one was covering ... runner from 3rd scored ...

Then the Umps changed the mind and sent the runners back.

Shields is struggling with his control. He just hit a batter with the bases loaded for the sox. Luckily only one run scored with the based loaded and no outs.

2 innings in a row Sox load the bases with 0 outs and each inning only score 1 run, both times without a hit. They really went down the crapper when it's mattered. Not playing like a team that deserves to go to the playoffs.

You mean your Sox are being effected by the same sickness the Tigers have been most of the year, not able to get the Big hit with runners in Scoring Position ?

just said last 9 games they are hitting .123 with RISP. And that was before 2 more guys made outs.

I know what you mean...I would rather the Tigers play like champions instead of backing into the playoffs. I refuse to cheer against another team...unless we're playing them, of course.

Mum Ehhff!!!! What the hell is this??? It's something like our 11th 1-run loss in a row??? We suck!!! We have no mental toughness!!! And we get our arses handed to us, at home, by the Twins today. I'm ticked!...no, I"m pissed!...no, I'm seething! We don't deserve to play in the postseason this year.

I kind of agree with you but since I don't expect the tigers to will all of their final 6 games I would like the white sox to lose a couple. Good news! Longoria homered to give the rays a 3-2 lead in the top of the 9th.

And we get Mr. Rodney to close it out for them. :):

Sox have no emotion. All they can do right now is hit solo HR's once in awhile. And, it's not the rookies haven't come thru.

Well, Rodney reminded me of his Tigers days, never easy.
First hitter hit the ball hard and when Youk got on and Dunn was up, I was concerned ...
