For those of us located in Michigan the sox game Is available in the clear on the MLB Network ALT channel at 7:00. People in other areas might get the Padres at Dodgers on the main channel. I plan on watching at least part of the game.

Thanks for the heads up !
I'm mainly watching the VaTech/GT game, but flipping on commercials to the Sox/Twins game on as you said the Alt MLB channel, make sure you choose the HD one.

Oddly, the Dodgers/Padres game on the main channel is Blacked Out here, in Ohio, what gives ?

I'm doing the same.

Dr. Smith was such a WIMP ... I'm amazed that he was even ON the ship when it left.
There was a story behind that, but I don't remember what it was.

As I recall, Dr. Zachary Smith was aboard to sabotage the space ship prior to launch but was somehow trapped aboard. Smith is a coward and a man of low morals and ethics...but he becomes surprisingly bold when motivated by money and power. What I find interesting about this show is that it ran its course prior to our landing on the moon, and I believe it was set around the turn of the century (2000). Although I was only a kid, I'm pretty sure we all thought we would be driving hovercraft (a la The Jetsons), have a moon base, and be exploring other galaxies by now. Man you just reminded me about how much I loved Space Ghost.

Ya, I went back and looked into it to refresh my memory.
Your right, Smith was there to sabotage the ship, supposivly a spy (can you imagine ?).
He got trapped onboard and some speculate that the ship went off course with the added weight on board, keep in mind that the crew was not awake when this all happened.
And you were close, it's suppose to be set in 1998 !

It has been a long time, but didn't he program the Robot which led to their getting blaster light years off course? Anyway, since the series ran three years I guess they would have crossed into the next milenium. Hmmm. I don't recall them patching one computer for Y2K. :D

The way I understood it, he programmed the Robot to sabotage the ship.
Many theories on why they went off course.

That may be the first time I heard the words "Nincompoop" !

Your right, good call....

I think they were both in the same area of time frame, I guess it was ... BOTH !

In retrospect, the word nincompoop may be one of the Terms of Enrearment used by Mountain Man when addressing Ned Beatty. Get it...enrearment? I crack me up! :D

:focus:

Anyway, we're down to the final 28 games of the season. :popcorn

They need to go 20-8, sounds good, but don't see it happening.

IF they do go 20-8 (that was off the cuff) they will make the 92 wins I predicted for them this year.... however I had NO IDEA that they would play this inconsistant and not be able to win more than 2 in a row for the majority of the season.
