AL Central 2010

Listen...I'm back-and-forth between 100 and humid in Virginia and 105 and hot as hell in Texas...so I would kill for a 90 degree Ohio/Michigan visit. I'm still looking for the perfect job where I work 6-months of the year down in TX and the other 6-months up in Canada (Ontario), but knowing my luck I would be working the summers in TX and the winters in CA.

Anyway, it's back to your regularly scheduled Tigers-Twins thread. Fair-weather Sux fans need not bother us.

When you find that job, let me know.

Hell it was 90's where I go in Texas in Feb/March. (Brownsville)

Soon it can be a Tigers/Twins debate about fighting for 2nd place behind the Sox:p

I noticed that too.
Tigers pitching staff can be very dominating one day and very explosive the next.
The Sox on the other hand was suppose to be carried by thier staff.

Sox were at -49 June 8, so for the last month, they have been carried by their staff. For some reason, this team really played the 1st 2 months., then hit the streak. Now they are playing a bit more like I expected them too. If they stay at the pace they're playing now (6-4 in their last 10), that would give them a 91-92 win season. That would either win the division, or be right in it until the end.

Yup, they are playing much better than earlier in the year.

For the Tigers sake, let's hope they get on a decent streak sometime this year.
We know the Twins will be streaking at the end of the year, they ALWAYS do ...

I think that it goes without saying, that whoever wins the Cliff Lee sweepstakes, will win the Central.

Only team in the Central that really has a chance at him are the Twins, so I hope he goes to the NL.

Who says he's going to the AL Central ?

The Twins are the only ones I have heard about talking about Lee, from the Central.

Mariners are looking for a young top notch catcher the twins have that person to give up for obvious reasons. The yanks and mets also are interested in lee

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
