AL Central 2010

kinda like the Lions do every Turkey Day? :p

Yeah and just like Favre does every playoff.

Tigers game is just a hit fest. Jeebus, I think Inge even has a couples hits and rbi's.

Orioles walking Boesch to get to Guillen....man oh man, i like this kid. :)

In other news, Dontrelle Willis was designated for assignment in Arizona. D-Train

Maybe looking up would light a fire under the Twins (or the Tigers)!

Tigers have been looking up for quite some time now.... Twins are a much better team. Tigers have a lot of work to do to get better, they are still VERY inconsistant, you never know from day to day which team will show up, the one that hits and pitches well or the one that either fails to hit at all or plays lackadasical like today.

Saw the Willis stuff earlier in the week. or at least they were talking about it.

As for Inge, 2 hit and 2 rbi and a walk today.
Btw, he's hitting .263 now, MUCH better than a month or so ago when he was hitting .220, he's actually been on quite a roll, the hitting instructor has him changing his stance again recently and it has helped.
Now, can he do anything with the catchers.

Twins should be a consistent team. I don't like what I see from the bullpen right now, BUT… every team goes through a funk or two during the season. I'm hoping they'll right the ship soon.

gee...last Thursday when the Tigers had off you were talking Big 10 football and spelling and grammar mistakes

so now that the Twins are off today I want to talk about football :)

Well good thing I slept through it. I thought it'd be a blowout so waste of time to watch, but looked like Orioles actually came out swinging.

I wonder how much the heat had to do with a good part of it, neither pitcher (starting) had much and there were 14 runs scored in the first 3 innings.

Could have played a role, had a "Heat Advisory" in the area today and most likely tomorrow

Listen...I'm back-and-forth between 100 and humid in Virginia and 105 and hot as hell in Texas...so I would kill for a 90 degree Ohio/Michigan visit. I'm still looking for the perfect job where I work 6-months of the year down in TX and the other 6-months up in Canada (Ontario), but knowing my luck I would be working the summers in TX and the winters in CA.

Anyway, it's back to your regularly scheduled Tigers-Twins thread. Fair-weather Sux fans need not bother us.

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
