AL Central 2010

Procello BLOWS..This guy just does not learn things very easy..Remember the last time he faced this team? He went through the lineup pretty east the first time. Then the 2nd time through they killed him like they knew what was coming. Well here we are a month or so later he does the same crap...Maybe he should have gotten his education because he sure as hell is not smart enough to know what they are doing. Looks like the COmerica magic has worn out it's welcome..I was hoping we would see some rejuvination from these guys but nothing like that is happening..Looks like they are just going to get through it and be done.

6.2 innings of 1 run ball, 5 hits, 5 K's and 1 walk in a 7-1 win .....

By who ????

That Quitter (according to someone here) Jeremy Bonderman.
Pitched a VERY good game and the Tigers beat the White Sox 7-1, so now they are no worse off than they were several hours ago when they lost 12-2.

He certainly earned a portion of his 12.5M paycheck tonight. The problem is that he frequently does not.

Yes, he's not nearly as consistent as you would like, but thats why he's a #4 or 5 pitcher at this point.

No teams 4 or 5 pitcher is consistent or they would be a 2 instead :)

He's about a .500 pitcher in the last month and a half.
Going about 6 innings and about 4-5 runs.

I could live with his performance...if he were to return 8M in unearned salary. Otherwise, it's time to sack this over compensated underperformer.

So his contract is more important than his performance is ?

He's a FA this year, I'm sure if he comes back, it will be for MUCH less money.
Probably right about where you said.
I'd give him a 50/50 chance at coming back.

IF he doesn't, it opens up a position for Oliver of Turner to step in.

Twins 1.5 games back....Thank goodness after tomorrow they're pretty much done with the AL East...well they have a 4 game at home against Toronto at the end of the season. Twins dont look good on the road against AL East teams (well Baltimore the exception) ;)

I like Bondy and hope he does well for many reasons...so it makes it difficult when he is not performing up to expectations. I would like to see him comeback next year - to the team and as a quality starting pitcher. We shall see...

Twins up 2-0 already :)

kinda weird to see an 11:00AM Central start time. Twins havent had to "compete with SpongeBob" in 2 years when they shared the Humpty Dome with the MN Gophers

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
