Activation office closed on weekends?

The number that was removed was on a dish network web page under "My Account". Go under "Activate receiver" in your account and click on that URL. If you have no receivers to activate, it showed that phone number. I am not sure why this number was removed (since it is available publicly). Not all phone numbers are installer numbers here :p
Not sure what the number was that got deleted but I just checked the page you say under "my account/activate" and it does give a 1-888-xxx-2205 number.

If you use it, do so at your own peril. If the CSR figures out that you are not a tech, your call will be routed to the customer call center. You will have to identify yourself aa a tech plus give the phone number of the company you work for. Without that information ,you'll be transfered to a customer call center.
The number that was deleted form this thread is NOT for public use. It is an installer line only. Please do not tie up our means to expedite as many customers as we can. We are working hard to serve as many people in a day as possible If customers tie up our installer lines we will have to spend more time on the phone and that means less time working. That means fewer customer will get their service.

I am ok with this, but I don't think you followed my post (probably because you dont use this feature in your dish web account). Please read my post carefully. They would not be publishing these numbers to customers, you need to follow and read people's posts before commenting :D
