According to 'Sports by Brooks', Urban Meyer is new....

Well, it's Official, Urban Meyer is in at "The Ohio State University"

Link? I have not seen anything official yet and my twitter feed of local sports reporters has not blown up yet.

I hope thats not true. Id really like to see Urban back in Orange and Blue!!! Although I am not going to kick Will to the curb yet (you get at least 2-3 seasons before we bring the torches down here)..

I am really second guessing the whole Charlie Weis thing though. I miss the fun N gun Spread option offense. This pro-offense is boring. We been running the spread for nearly 25 years or so, (thanks Daddy Steve) the Fun N Gun is FLA!

I understand its easier to get recruits and stay consistent running a pro style offense etc (because the players are easier to find) but dammit its not as fun!

you have got to be kidding. he quit on us twice and was nothing without dan mullen and tebow!

Ha. If your a OSU fan you missed Dan Patrick say how hard it will be for Urban to win a national title at OSU than at Florida.
I guess Dan is a southern homer too.:)

Linda. You are correct. Urban did quit on the gators twice.

Well good for him..I hope he does well and doesn't have any health issues like he got at Florida but I just don't see him having a stress free career coaching at OSU as compared to Florida or any other school for that matter.

Southward saw the lightSouthward says goodbye Golden, hello Urban

The loss of Dwayne Stanford to Oregon didn't linger too long. Just a short time ago we were able to confirm that Lakeland (FL) WR Ricquan Southward made the switch from his Miami (FL) verbal commitment and gave the OSU staff his verbal pledge.

Southward, a 4-star recruit in the class of 2012, had been committed to the Hurricanes for a while, but with the NCAA looming and Urban Meyer on the way to Columbus, the south Florida stand out decided he wanted to don the Scarlet and Gray for the forthcoming years.

He was not offered by Florida or Florida State, so who gives a s--t about this kid???

Are you going to post every commit, that Columbus Community College gets? If so why don't you start a new thread about their recruiting, I'm sure everyone else on this board is interested in what happens in inbred Ohio?

First of all, its the 1st commit to change, not like I've posted 20 of them.

Second, if you follow along with the thread, you would KNOW who it was directed to.

Third, if you don't like it that we have Very good coach now, tough luck. I see all those that thought Urban was a good guy, don't anymore because he's with the Buckeyes now.

You don't HAVE to post in the thread if you don't like it.
Well be fine without your smart a$$ remarks, just because he's not in the sec anymore, he a bum.

That's typical of some of you ....

I'll comment on any topic I want. Maybe you should study your map to see who you're going to root for, Jimmy. Michigan, Ohio or Pennsylvania?
